Bookings, Deposit, Payments and Cancellations.
The details below provide further information regarding bookings, payments, refunds, cancellations.
Pick up points: Sights n Sounds is a Bendigo based tour company. We collect our clients from your preferred pick-up point (within a 60km radius of Bendigo town centre). We can collect from your accommodation or specified address.
Tours can also be booked to leave from Bacchus Marsh (Geelong, Ballarat, Yarra Valley).
Where the tour exceeds 60km of the pick-up point commencing from either Bacchus Marsh or Bendigo an additional fee will be applied, with a minimum of 4 passengers.

Commence Bendigo Winery/Brewery Tour: Heathcote, Dunolly, Rochester, Castlemaine, Inglewood, Kyneton, Maryborough
Commence Bacchus Marsh Winery/Brewery Tour: Ballarat, Geelong, Kyneton, St Kilda, Melbourne CBD, Williamstown, Mount Macedon, Buninyong, Daylesford.
Wanting to explore a bit further and Build Your Own Tour: Echuca, Nagambie, Murchison, Seymour, Wedderburn, Shepparton, Yarra Valley. Please ask for a specific quote.
Tour Duration:
Most tours are either:
Half day tours: Generally collect from 10am until 4:00pm (6 hours).
Full day tours: 9.30 until 5.30 (8 hours).
Longer tours can be arranged. Contact us with the details you require and we will prepare an individual quote for your special occasion.
Booking enquiries: Booking enquiries can be made via phone call to our mobile number, email or through our website. We will research and provide a verbal quote. Once you accept the verbal quote, we will create a tax invoice which will request payment of a deposit to secure your tour. We request a minimum deposit of $250.
We will book all your tour needs, as documented in your tax invoice.
Final payment is due 7 days prior to your tour date.
Payment details: Payments can be made various ways:
Direct bank transfer to our bank account. Please contact John for banking options.
Refunds Policy: Sights n Sounds request a holding deposit of $250 for all tours. Tour dates will only be secured, once this deposit has been paid in full. The balance of the tour fees are due 7 days prior to your tour date.
Cancellations:
We request that cancellations are made in writing- via email or through our website’s our Contact us link.
In the case of cancellation of your tour, the following cancellation policy is applied.
If you cancel more than 7 days prior to your tour and have paid your $250 deposit, an administration fee of $50 will be held by us and the remaining $200 refunded to you. This $50 will reflect the research work we have conducted for your tour and that you no longer require. If you cancel with 7 -3 days’ notice of your booked tour, you will incur a cancellation fee of $40 per person, plus ANY wine tasting fees applied to your tour.
If your tour is cancelled with less than 48hours notice of your pickup time, there is no refund of your deposit paid. If you have paid the full balance of the tour, we will refund the balance minus $250.
If Sights n Sounds need to cancel a tour for any reason (example driver illness) we will refund 100% of what you have paid.
In the event of vehicle break down during a tour, Sights N Sounds will guarantee and pay for alternative transport for the passengers on the specified tour.
How many passengers do we cater for:
Sights n Sounds operates tours using our Toyota High Ace van with capacity for 11 passengers. We can cater for tours for 4-11 passengers at a time. We can accommodate larger groups (12+) upon request.
Tours are targeted to an adult audience (18years+).
