May 2025: Heathcote with the girls
Election day did not stop this group of women from enjoying the wonderful sights, sounds and sampling in the Heathcote region. Mick was our driver for the day. A 10am pick up (of ten very excited ladies) from the heart of Bendigo and off we went to explore some hidden gems in the Heathcote area.
First stop was Idavue Estate, located in the shadows of Mount Ida, where hosts Sandy and Andy, spoilt the ladies with a delightful charcuterie board and five delicious red wines. Creative music memorabilia and local produce displays created a welcoming atmosphere for the group.
Our second destination and lunch time stop, was at Munari. Here the ladies grazed on wood fired pizzas and a tasted a selection of white wine, rose and shiraz.
Last stop of the day was the highlight when it comes to stunning views and did, we have the perfect day to soak up the atmosphere. Peregrine Ridge winery is well known for its production of shiraz. Graham shared his wealth of wine knowledge with the ladies. A bonus sampling of the fortified wine was a great way to conclude our visit to Heathcote.
Three more cellar doors, on a picturesque Autumn day, a bus full of happy women and some successful purchases on board, made a most relaxing and memorable day.

March 2025: Bellarine Getaway
A belated Christmas present to two couples, saw Sights n Sounds lead an adventure on the Bellarine. It was the perfect autumn day to explore the Bellarine. The tour started at the Whiskery, where our guests “fired up’ their taste buds with some whiskey sampling.
Next stop was lunch at Jack Rabbit for a delectable seafood platter, mini charcuterie board and maybe a few wines to sample.
After lunch we meandered to Farm Dog Brew @ McGlashan Estate, in picturesque Wallington. Some more sampling here.
The final venue for the day, was a surprise visit to Bennet’s on Bellarine. Thanks to Leah and company, for booking your Bellarine adventure with Sights n Sounds. We hope you had a memorable day. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

2024: Heathcote Ladies day with Margie.
Sights n Sounds collected Margie and a group of her closest female friends, for a ladies day exploring the Heathcote Wine Region. Our adventure started at Munari Wines, where we sampled wines paired with a marvelous charcuterie board.
Our second stop for the day was at Silver Spoon, where Margie and her guests were spoilt by a delicious menu and ladies choice of accompanying wines.
Our third and final destination was at Shiraz Republic, where the sampling continued and the ladies “bopped” along to tunes provided by live band, “Jungle Jim Smith”.
Perfect day out. What more could we ask for? Perfect driver, John. Perfect weather! Perfect group of friends accompanied by perfect wine, food and live music!
